The First Ones          TBA

Devon, an ageless vampire whose existence predates the entire human race, was one of the last survivors of an ancient race known as the Anunnaki that was nearly wiped-out millions of years ago. The few that survived the destruction of their world; to save their species, the scientists of that ancient race through genetic manipulation created the homo sapiens as a last hope for their people. Millions of years later and haunted by the shadows of his past, after the murder of his beloved, Devon abandoned his duty and ran away to wander the world alone, staying one step ahead of those sent to search for him. After centuries, he came to reside in a small town along the West Coast of the United States.

One evening after a hunt, he stumbled upon a young man in peril, confronted by two of Devon’s own kind. In a moment of unexpected kindness, Devon intervened, rescuing the young man from a grim fate and sparking an unlikely acquaintance between them. As the year slipped by their friendship grew and their bond deepened, transforming into something far more profound. However, just as Devon began to acknowledge these newfound feelings, the ghosts of his past emerged, threatening to unravel the quiet life he yearned for. Caught in the tension between his destiny as the crown prince of his ancient lineage and the normal life he so desperately desired, Devon found himself at odds with his own kind, he returns to find they are at a crossroads which may lead the world to war.

Two hundred and fifty thousand years ago, freshly out of boot camp and eager to explore the galaxy, Jacob took his first mission to discover the reason why the alliance had lost contact with one of its member worlds: Earth.

Upon his team’s arrival, a devastating virus had infected and killed nearly half the population within a day. However, that wasn’t the problem. The bodies of those dead somehow reanimated, becoming a cannibalistic creature which threatened the very existence of earth and possibly the galaxy. After years of fighting the infected, the virus was destroyed, or so they thought.

A few hundred thousand years later, Jacob, now a general within the alliance military, has returned to earth, fearing that the virus they once thought destroyed might have returned.

While on leave visiting a small town in Northern Washington state, the virus mysteriously appeared without cause or warning; and like before, millions of humans died. Two states away from his subterranean outpost, Jacob is forced to deal with the situation and fight the hordes of the undead, revealing the truth to an unlikely band of human survivors. He escorts them back to the outpost as the dead are hungry, and not all humans they counter are friendly

The Morning After-The Fall of Man.- It is the first book in the Apocalypse series. A fate worse than death.
